Tunic length?

How long should a tunic top be if I make one bearing in mind I am short and have fat legs? I will be wanting to wear over leggings and am just wondering what the most flattering length is? @northernruth

What're your knees like?

I like them long enough to cover lumpy bums and thighs.

I like to go just an inch or so below bum, that way you're hiding that bit, but its not too obvious that you;re tring to hide everything. But I'm also short so I think anything longer shortens me further

I like them mid thigh- long enough to cover my bum and I feel I can bend over without flashing my rear!

My thighs have a natural bit where they go in half way down. If I cut off a tunic at that point it implies my legs are that size all the way up....for $e that's about 3-4 inches below my crotch but I'm tall
