Dr martens

Postby labbiefan » Sat May 10, 2014 5:15 am

Just wondered if anyone else is a fan?
I've recently started wearing an old pair of cherry red Docs, and love them!
They are old, I had them when at school so we are talking a good 18yrs old- but they are so comfortable.
I've even treated myself to a new pair with heals to go with my skinny jeans :)
Oh and best of all, I got dd a pair from eBay £4.99 all in, purple with white daisy pattern soooooo cute.

I bought a black pair to wear to work when I first started nursing but I ended up finding them to heavy, I did occasionally pop them on last winter with jeans but they are a bit boring! I had a black pair of boots as a late teenager - did lots of travelling around Denmark / Europe in them  Wore them as school shoes too from about 14!

I have a pair of antique black 1914s I live in them when I'm at work :) i think I will need a new pair in the winter I really want the brown ones with the fur lining but I have a feeling they will be way to hot for the med :giggle:

I have some brown triumphs and also a pair of blue amelie's - I think that's what they're called. Both boots have a turn down bit on the boot with a pattern so you can wear them high and low. I find them very hard wearing and pretty funky but I find them pretty heavy too but no heavier than any other "proper" boot such as timberland etc.

£4.99 delivered is amazing labbiefan! The kids ones are so cute :) xx

I've got them on my saved searches on eBay!
My dds were a complete bargain. The toes were very scuffed but I've given them loads of TLC and they look nice :)

I was absolutely gutted as a student to find that I couldn't get any that fitted my awkward, narrow feet :(
I haven't revisited them.
