Bf friendly dresses?

Ok so summer is approaching and I so prefer dresses to skirts, I am going to visit my mum in the south of france and want some ideas for dresses, they have to be budget and also bf friendly. Any ideas?
I am open to the idea of making but would like one to pattern from first.

I just wear low cut dresses with vest tops under, pull the vest top up and the dress down

Wrap style dress? That's what I used nice, comfy and stylish

Like PP I used wrap dresses, sometimes with a vest top underneath. I also liked jersey dresses (so have a bit of stretch) with a v neck. I bought one for a wedding from phase eight and it worked really well but they also have some more casual ones. HTHs
