Ok silly question - those who wear cotton gloves at night, how do you stop them coming off? I tried this last winter but always woke up gloveless :giggle:

I don't think mine have ever staye don all night but long enough to do the trick! I usually end of taking the socks off though because my feet get too hot!

:giggle: I would have the same problem, so everyone else uses 'normal' liquid soap and I have my bars just for me :D I'm currently using some from Saffron Barr on Folksy (where Shadow gets her soaps) and have previously had many from Simply Soaps and Akamuti.

We use aveeno on our bodies, but for very dry skin we use Weleda's Skin Food and it works like magic here. Would thoroughly recommend it!

Revisited this thread as my thumbs have cracked already this year. I've bought some liquid black soap and some Akamuti hand cream so we'll see how that works.

Was going to say try shea butter, straight raw stuff, pretty sure akamuti sell in their ebay shop. Lush's handy gurugu is good too. Dh keeps a pot in the car for his hands as he gets very sore knuckles. Hth x
