Gardening questions - tunnel and planting.

Postby clothmama » Wed Apr 22, 2015 9:55 pm

 So excitedly our house has a garden with has plenty of room for veggies and even has a big solid polytunnel frame.

First question is what should I put on it - I have noticed that people around where we are either have white coloured or green coloured covering, does anyone know what the difference / benefits of either are?

Secondly we won't be in the house until late May if lucky and possibly into June. What should I look at planting that far into summer that is quite easy to get started with?

Lucky you!!
Youl definitely be able to plant herbs, salad leaves, carrots, poss potatoes if you move in May. Then there's lots of stuff you can plant in the summer to eat in winter - broccoli, cabbage etc.
Don't know what difference the colour of plastic would make, everyone i know who has one has white.
