Looking good and lots growing. Is the teepee thing for your peas? I've woodchipped some of my paths and they do look so much neater although I'm still getting some weeds up, I think I need to do it thicker but it starts getting so expensive

I did replant one in a pot so that might be rescued!

:giggle: :giggle: oh no! I didn't even realise I could put them in yet! I hope the potted one makes it @confusinglady

Thank you @clothmama
Yes teepee for the peas, the other bean pole one is for the runner beans but I've not planted them outside, they're in the green house. Was just getting ahead!

Yes wood chip expensive. We took some big leylandia (sp) trees down last year and borrowed a chipper so have a big pile on our play area bit. Just stole some from there ;). Also when doing the play area we lined it with proper stuff so I stole a tiny bit of that ;)

Looking really good  very jealous of a proper greenhouse too!

Don't break your back digging, just chuck some compost over the top and you are ready to go (check out Charles dowding on you tube)

Will have a look, but needed to dig out the weeds anyway. Not really dug it over just tidied it up
I m going to try to grow the squash kind of vertically ... Trying to work out how to do that for the best in that spot at the mo. Have dug in two plastic with holes in plant pots to do the watering into. I found that great with my 3 sisters thingy last year. It helped the kids water the right places too!
Then maybe do two more pea teepee type things as MIl got me some willow to weave.... Be rude not to!
Going to trying to grow some patty pan squash and corgettes up them a bit to stop the snails getting to them. Then some butternut squash up the fence. That is the plan! I have quite a few plants for that one spot!

Not had chance to upload last weekends work yet! So this was 6/7 th May:

Dig over a little and put in supports, not woven as planned but I wanted the bases wider and they seem pretty sturdy. Planted out 2 courgettes and 2 Squash. We ll see how they grow up a little bit, but more bush type plants. A little experiment!

Going to grow butternut squash up the fence at the back..... That is the plan!

Planted out this years broccoli (next to the ones planted last year which are now producing) in the hope it will provide lovely tender stems at the end of the summer/ Autumn. My plan is to plant some more out in July to stay in the ground over winter.

The overview and if you look closely my little robin friend :)
Runner beans planted out and peas, spinach and little gem visible.
Weirdly in that first raised bed not much has grown right down the middle of the bed.... Or something is nibbling that bit :/

And my pickings on Thursday for tea :)

Had lots of spinach, strawberries, and lettuce I ve forgotten to take pics of too.
Some broccoli hasn't started to produce heads yet which is annoying as these were ones planted last year. I m wondering if they will :(

Updated pics: taken Sunday

The greenhouse: tomatoes growing, cucumbers producing, aubergines growing and 1 yellow pepper plant which is just out of the pic.

My patch :

And our side salad yesterday for tea - cucumber, little gem lettuce, spinach , peas and beetroot all from our garden

Loving my growing, the rest of the garden is a mess but this gives me a bit of routine and monotony of an evening to settle my brain!

  Morning. Crap nigth didn't go to bed until 12 (my fault was reading!) and then Mr had me up at 5.15 and I didn't get back to sleep after that so needing some matchsticks this morning :giggle:

I would like to get into the garden for a while this morning as we are due a very hot day again and then late morning I'm taking my MIL to a local chateau. Also need to make some calls about our shipment. Had a really good quote from someone to actually bring our boxes - it is the same price as what it will cost us to do it with van hire. fuel, motorway fees and b and b for the night so I just need to find out if it is OK from the customs point of view.

Better get out the door BBL
