Help save my lettuce please

There are tiny white critters all over my lettuce....what are they and how do I get rid of them? Thanks

They are probably aphids or white fly. Try spraying them with some water with a squirt of washing up liquid in in a spray bottle...

Thanks, I'll try that tomorrow. Is it ok to eat it...obviously after a good wash?

Liquid soap in water works too if you have a more natural liquid soap. Yup ok to eat

and as a more long term help if you find any ladybirds stick them on your lettuce!
