Re: How clean is your house?

I'm a neat and clean freak, but it's born out of a dislike for chores! I find it much easier to do little and often and to keep on top of things, than to let them get out of hand. It's also much nicer to live in, and there's no manic clean up if we have visitors!
I work long hours 3 days a week, and make all food from scratch, and healthy home made food always comes first in my priorities.
We vacuum downstairs a few times a week, and I clean the bathroom most days, but not all of it - 5 mins cleaning it every day means its always clean and never needs a big clean, I just rotate what I do each day.
I never iron, dh irons our work stuff, but that's it. Floor washing is weekly but I don't mind if it's fortnightly. Same with window washing.
No matter how early we're out, the beds are made, and things are tidy. It takes a few minutes to chuck the toys in the toyboxes at the end of the night, and when I get home, I'd rather it was to a tidy organised house. There's enough to be doing each day (cooking, dishes, laundry, bag packing) without adding more mess!
