Softner?

Postby ems101 » Sun Sep 23, 2012 3:48 pm

Do you use it in your wash (clothes not nappies) is it ok for babies skins? Does it make a difference to your clothes? I want my towels and things softer but dont have a tumble dryer.

I use Comfort in all my washing except nappies and towels and it's always been fine with Pickle's skin and makes the clothes nice and soft against babies skin too.

If you want your towels to be softer you should use Bold 2in1 as previously suggested as it has a clay based fabric softener in it so it doesn't effect the absorbancy of the towels but makes them softer.

It has to be cheaper than buying 2 tho?

I always buy it on offer, usually £5 for the medium box or £7-8 for the large box. I never use the recommended dose so a medium box will easily last 6-8weeks.

I too find I dont need the full recommended amount, I hardly use any on the nappy wash but do add some soda crystals. I also buy in bulk when on offer :D

tesco non bio is £9 for 50 washes and bold is £6 for 25 washes. I dont usually buy softner so havent factored that in. if i did, it would roughly even out i guess!
