Well..... Turns out we've half solved the boys smell problem!

About 2 months ago the c-clamp inside the toilet broke (the bit that joins the handle and makes it flush!)
We called eon out as we have plumbing& drains cover with them.
Turns out the man changed the settings on the loo - so if only did half a flush!!!!!
My dad (plumber and engineer extraordinaree!!!) was in hospital at the time - but since coming home was des up with the toilet not flushing completely!

Now he's changed it back to a full flush... That "boy smell" isn't lingering around as much because its being ALL flushed away!!!

We've decided to tile the floor in there too. It's only about 2ft square in size - so will be fairly cheap to do!

Just got to find away to clean the wood underneath the vinyl first......
Ideas????

Glad you have got to the root of the problem (good on ya dad :wine: )!

Bi-carb paste to get rid of the smell mixed with lemon juice to clean and make it smell nice if you want to go natural?

Will you be using grout for the tiles? Wee soaks into grout & you can never get it out! Bicarb neutralised for a while but the grout was stained yellow!

This is the reason we now have vinyl flooring as it's easier to clean & keep fresh than tiled.
