Tips for cleaning Ikea paper lightshades?

Postby clothmama » Mon Oct 15, 2018 3:25 pm

I have one of those tall bulging out in the middle Ikea standard lamps (as well as some other bedside and ceiling) that are made from paper. Anyone got any tips for getting the dust off without making smears / breaking the paper?

Canned air could work but the compressor would put a hole in for sure :giggle:

Possibly my compressor is for the spray gun so I can turn it right down :giggle: on that note I once atomised 20L of pink emulsion because I had the compressor set to high :hohoho: can you imagine how much dust 20L of paint can create  I was sneezing pink snot for months :hohoho:  and the whole workshop turned pink :giggle:
