I'm in! My past tricks to avoid doing it  have been to shove everything into a box and put the box on top of the wardrobe or down in the cellar - out of sight out of mind!! :lookround:

I'll join you

Our house desperately needs decluttering. We are both terrible hoarders and there is junk everywhere. We're both fed up with it and we need to sell the house and downsize, so a lot of it has to go!

Me!!!!
I'm in the middle of it at the moment.

Did a car boot sale the other day and have done a full car load to the charity shop  and half a load to the tip. Decided our dining (6x4 ft) table was far too big for our house and hardly ever used and just meant that our conservatory was too full to do anything in... so just sold that on ebay and getting a smaller (5x3 ft) one that will fit in the kitchen, leaving our conservatory to actually use!

Also realised recently that the reason I never got round to cleaning was that I had to do so much tidying up because so many things in this house just don't have a home. We're quite good when there is somewhere to put something, but have loads of things laying around that don't actually have a designated home.

I'm actually really enjoying de-cluttering and have to remind myself not to get carried away sometimes :giggle:

Will make a to-do list, will be fun to keep track of progress...

I desperatly want to do a Car boot with all of my junk. Just throw it all in boxes with 50p/£1/£2 each and just let it all go! But... I don't own a car, so a car boot is a bit of a problem :hohoho:

Those without car/too small, can you club together with someone with a car and do one between you? - split the entrance cost. I made £69 on mine, quite chuffed with that. It was mainly to get rid of stuff though - in fact I had a box of free stuff (great for attracting people to your stall as well  )

That's exactly my trouble too. I hate cleaning because we have too much clutter and nowhere to put things :x
