Dishwasher - which one?

No idea what to look for as never had one - spam me please ladies!!!

Our Bosch was fabulous, lasted 5 years till we moved then it mysteriously stopped working...heard nothing but good about them, too.

PS Try the Comet Clearance website, we got ours on auction from there cheap because it had a couple of dents in the side which you couldn't see when it was in place.

Mine is a Bosch Exxcel which we have had for 7.5 years now and we have never had a problem with it.

My plumber made comment that he's had lots of complaints about smeg dishwashers. Great for other things, but bad at dishwashers. We have one, and it goes through phases of not cleaning very well.

You could have a look at the Which? website - I would imagine that they've tested them for energy/water efficiency.

ours is a zanussi and is great, all our kitchen stuff is I think as it came with the house when we bought off plan.
The auction site is good, we got a tumble dryer from there x

Ours is a beko. Really cheep and really water and energy efficiant. Had it just over a year and no probs so far

We have a Bosch and it does its job well. Don't get one with too many different programmes as you'll end up just using one of them.

Another vote for Bosch here. We bought a 2nd hand one years ago that was from 1985!!! It still worked (ish) when we got rid of it in about 2007! We bought a new one last year and love it it really does clean well, hope it lasts as well as they last one!
