It will only get worse if you don't read him the riot act now. It's entirely up to you how you divide chores in a relationship and if someone wants to be the Housewife while a partner goes out to work then that's up to them, but that doesn't sound like what you have signed up for.

I think I'm going to give this a go. I haven't actually tried sitting down with him and making a list of all the chores and pointing out that I have to do all of it as well as work and look after Reuben when I'm not working (which is more tiring than a full day in the office :giggle: ) I shall try and get him to pick out some that he's willing to do. It's definately worth giving a go and might give him a kick up the bum!

Our bins have to go to the top of the culdesac, so taking the wheelie bins up on a Sunday night is DEFINITELY a man job - they're too damn heavy!!!

Lol that was the last thing he dropped doing. I found 12 bin bags in the shed - yes 12! And 8 recycling! And had to do 5 trips to the end of our lane to put them all out upon finding them

You see I wouldn't stand for that at all - there would be one almighty unholy row and he would be frogmarched out to do said bunnies!

Is he ok? Inability to keep on top of chores can be a sign of depression - or maybe he's just a lazy f***er
