Quick washing help question

Postby 0_Lisa_0 » Fri Sep 16, 2011 11:19 am

Sorry ladies, this is probably a daft question anyway but can someone tell me if i can wash jumpers with my clothes wash. I wash at 40 and my acrylic ones just go in with everything else, but i have 2 with a small percentage of wool (the highest having 27% wool i think) would they be ok on the 40 cycle or do they need a wool wash? I'm loath to put 2 jumpers in on their own!

I personally wouldnt risk it with wool in. 40 is quite warm.

Does your machine not have a wool cycle? They typically only fill half/quarter drum and are designed for just one or two items so dont waste water/energy etc.

I have also shrunk things in a 40 wash so wouldn't risk it.

Wts

A wool wash in my experience is designed for a few items of clothing so no need to worry about wasting electric / water / energy etc
