home schooling

I know there was a thread about it the other day but I am after some more information. I asked hubby what his opinion is on home education, he said he would need more information. I am not sure what questions I have yet :giggle: so has anyone got any links x

Why don't you PM Shadow or Nappynutter? Think they both home school. Not sure who else does but there's a few around

I did most of our research by googling. It's worth searching yahoo groups for a local (county) group too. I think nappynutter posted some links in the other thread that might be looking at. Tbh we just get on with it, don't really have a huge amount of info. I can dig up a couple of book titles that might be worth reading - kick me tomorrow, I'm heading to bed now.

Izzy's way too young yet Im just thinking way ahead but yeh would love to hear any details of meetings, links ect. thanks x

I'd have suggested Education Otherwise too as that's where my siter got all her info from :wink:

I wouldn't suggest EO, personally. Lots of complicated politics and internal issues going on with them.

im homeschooling eden (12yrs)atm as she has m.e i must say ive had no info or help from her usual school im still waiting for the work they promised me in jan!!! :evil: :evil: i will look at those links tomorrow :D
