Scared but going to go for it. (home educating)

Terrified as it is a big decision and going against the 'norm' in a BIG way but I think it is the right decision for Isabelle... School is not suiting her at all and I've given it a year so we will go for it... We can always change our minds if it doesn't work out...

Yay! Welcome the world of home ed. We've been going nearly 7 ( ) years and wouldn't change it for the world :D
Just remember take it easy and don't expect to beeverything when you are just starting out. There are so many different ways to home ed, you need to find what's best for your child and your family. And you don't have to do it any particular way despite what the authorities might lead you to believe

oh well done you for making the decision. can i live vicariously through you? i've been seriously considering HE of late, but DH would never go for it, and we can't really afford for me not to work.
