TDF 2011 - Help! What is the theme music? (clip added)

Hi all,

I have had Tour De France inflicted on me all week & have at least another week to go ....
On ITV4 the coverage has a theme tune which I recoginise & it's driving me crazy as I can't find out what it is, even google has let me down ... anyone know what it is????

This made me laugh I watch it every year on itv and I don t know if it's from anything else, its just the Tour theme tune in my head.

Has it been inflicted on you in previous years? It may be that it s just seeped in over time and you now think it's a well known song?

I thought that too. Played it to DH as he is a musician and knows ridiculous amounts of music, but he didn't have a clue, although not really his kind of music as he plays classical/jazz etc

Just had a listen and for a minute I thought you'd cracked it, but played the tune on DH's iphone with this on the laptop & it's not the one.

I have watched it previous years, but I can quite vividly remember hearing this tune in the car & there being lyrics after the clip they keep playing (unless I've imagined the whole thing!)

Previuous years tunes were a Kraftwerk tune and then a specially written theme tune when it was on C4. I thought this was just a different theme tune
