I think it will depend on what you want to do, I am going to get some heat resistant wadding to go in the middle of mine as we have a big solid wood table and I don't want to blister the top of it. Other than that just any fancy bits you might want like embroidery thread or ribbon for decoration I guess. Far from an expert though so I 'm sure others will be along to help.
