And how about you @sim have you got any idea what you are doing?

I'm thinking a darkish grey and then something bright for the contrast or maybe just all grey and just do the bright pockets depending what I find in maybe a light corduroy I know the materials listed are a lot lighter than than but hoping it will be OK as a winter dress if I can do it with that!

It seems like a lot of material for a little dress - over 2 meters for the 2 colour one or 2 meters for 1 colour. I made my bliaut with small train with 3!

How exciting just opened the pattern and having a read - it must be years (since I was a teenager) since I've used a paper pattern!

So it seems pretty straight forward if slight overkill with all the bias binding covering all the internal seams :giggle: . I think I will just overlock for my first effort and do it 'properly' when I do one with lovely material at some point! The side seams are French seams which I read some people complaining about but I love them and regularly use them on things as I think the finish is just so gorgeous.

I'll have to open out the pattern when Remy not around but it looks like each size gets its own separate pattern pieces (I'm used to using nested ones).
