Which colour should finish it?

I'm knitting a puerperium cardi for bump but using random balls of yarn i have in stash so its 2 colours.


I thought i'd have enough green to finish the bottom but it looks like bottom edging will be brown now... Do you think it will look odd? (It will be green top, brown stripe, green stripe and brown edging)

I think it would annoy me but I'm funny about things like that. Could you maybe do the min body and arms green but edge them in brown? Or just edge the arms in brown as well.

I think it would look ok, especially I'd you could also edge the sleeves with the brown.

i had just enough green and its done just weaving in ends, then need to block and find some matching buttons.


Still not sure i totally like it though
The colours are nicer in daylight but maybe i should have done two brown stripes? ... i have a purple ball of yarn and i may make another, proper, stripey one
