Sweet almond oil is supposed to be good in softening the crusts and them then washing/falling off. TBH it never bothered me with either of mine so I just left it. Max still has a tiny patch now.

any kind of oil I scrub it in with my nails, then wash with shampoo and a bit more nail scrub. All gone!

I massaged in olive oil an hour before gently shampooing it out

I used oil as well after many times over using a medicated shampoo without success. i left it there for a while just like the other mamas said, brushed the dry skin out-easy to do as it was all softened-and then washed as normal. it did take some rinsing to remove mind. ive heard coconut oil, sweet almond oil, baby oil and olive oil all working really well xx

I run my fimgers through Emmet's hair while :bf: or soothing him to sleep to gently tease it out. Isaac still has some now. I'd try olive oil too :D

i use dentinox cradle cap shampoo but rub it in with one of those towel mits, leave it for a minute then rinse. then put on some burts bees belly butter which i've got left over from pregnancy (could probably use any moisturiser though) and dry with a soft towel. seems to work well on ds.
