Last night's bedtime story chosen by Ewan was the Very Hungry Caterpillar.

Ryan is really in to any book written but the lady who did the gruffol and the dirty great dinosaur

A book called dave, its about a cat that gets stuck in the cat flap and how he gets out. Pippa knows it word for word she adores it

Rhys is really enjoying Dr Seuss at the minute. He's just at the stage where he's beginning to actually read for himself, so he's taken a bit of a step backwards from the stories we were reading to him, towards ones he can manage by himself.

Bedtime story time here. DH is reading The Banana Machine by Alexander McCall Smith to the children. Since Iris can read, bedtime books are now chapter books, which is a bit more interesting for DH. Callum's choice this evening is a See Inside Your Body lift-the-flap book by Usborne.

The eldest one is reading the Island Adventure series by Helen Moss at the moment. He likes the gentle sarcarism in them.

The little one is enjoying "Funky Tales" by Vivian French and Korby Paul, especially "The Frog Princess". "Once there was a princess (Pretty) Sitting by a well (Darkly Deep)". With dramatic voices from mummy
The Very Hungry Caterpillar is the other top favourite for now.

Samantha is reading her Roald Dahl collection again. Her favourite is Matilda. Michael doesn't read yet but likes being read to by us and big sis His favourite Roald Dahl is The Witches.
