Amber teething necklaces

What are they all about and do they work?

I didn t really hear about them with my older two, but we re starting with the joy of teething again

I am not sure about the how it works thing but look forward to hearing everyones opinion, didn't hear about it until too late with Louis and wish I had!

I'm sat on the fence as to whether they actually work or not, because a. they can't tell you they feel better, and b. you can't measure any results because who's going to take it off when its on and they are teething.

BUT I love Lola's, it makes me feel better that i'm doing something when she's obviously in pain, and she looks darn cute!

Hmmm that's what I had wondered. Is it just a ' its feels like we re doing something' type thing. Which of course is not a bad thing, as it may be doing something.

I heard they work by releasing an acid-perhaps 'succinic'?? This is from my failing memory so may well be wrong. I wore an adult one and it distracted my lo so worked that way and also did provide a bit of something to chew on-which isn't advised btw-but its up to you as a parent to decide on that one x

We had an anklet for lo, and her cousin wore a necklace. I think they seemed to ease the teething a bit, would defo try using it again with another lo anyhow. Our main problem was it falling off, putting it on inside a onesie worked well x

ours was a godsend, dont know how it worked but it did, pips only lost hers a couple of weeks ago

I was temped to get one of these as I've just heard about them.

Any tips on the best place to get them?
