Busy Bags!

Postby clothmama » Sat Sep 20, 2014 6:27 am

I just spotted when looking for something else the concept of 'busy bags' - little bags with simple activities that you can get out to keep your toddler entertained! I think the idea is that you make up a whole stack of them and just get out one at a time. I love this idea and am going to try it when my little guy is at that stage. I'm thinking it would help keep things tidy / organised too (if I remember to put them away of course :hohoho: ).

Here is an article that I just read on the subject with lots of ideas:

Does anyone already do this? What have you got as your busy bag activities if you do?

I've known about them for quite sometime as they're something childminders tend to use, I've been meaning to sort some out but haven't got round to it yet. If you google it there's tonnes of ideas and loads on pinterest too :D

What sort of stuff do you have in yours? Do you keep them in a box and let her choose?
