Meningitis b injection

Postby Sophiebeth23 » Sun Mar 22, 2015 3:14 am

I'm really confused what to do. My in laws have said they will pay for all the grandchildren to have the meningitis b injection but I'm not in a good place emotionally to make a discision. I'm don't even know how I feel about it. She would have to have three doses due to her age at £135 a time. But I think my father in law offered as his best friend is paying for their grandchildren to have it. I have no idea what to do normally I read up on the side effects and pros and cons but this is a new injection. :-? What would you do?

Talk to your gp or health visitor.

Are you getting some help, emotionally? Xx

It's just been an emotional week. I don't have health visitor involvement, I think I'll go and see the GP see what they say.

We have a 0-19 team that you can contact about health and development concerns.... Speech, hearing, feeding, growth etc. We can call them for advice at any point. Maybe you have something similar?

I'd do as much reading as I could and as the others have suggested speak to your GP and see what they say about it.
