We swear by Ashton and Parsons teething powders. Bella has a dummy when she's teething (and to sleep), so we just pour the powders on her dummy and she pops it back in. We've tried Bonjela, the calpol gel and others, butthese powders work the best for us.

Well, Bella is old enough now, and can communicate well enough to ask for them, or she just hands us her dummy and demands them :giggle: but we've never had to give them at set intervals. Just as and when.

Anbesol has always worked for us, but it doesn't taste very nice and some babies don't like it :-?

Have you thought about an Amber Teething necklace to help with the discomfort?

ahh, i was just going to ask what they are like.......
do they work, and if so how do they notice they are wearing them? got a funny idea that my little madam would rip it off straight away.

They'd be pretty hard to rip off - though Isabelle does chew hers  but she's got all her teeth now...

They're made of silk so pretty hard to break!
