What about your toddler irritates you the most?!

Mine is the fact that he does stuff purposely that he knows he's not allowed to do, like climbing on the hearth, removing the cover from the controls of the fire, trying to remove the tape that covers the buttons on the TV (put there to stop him switching it on and off, and on and of, and on and off etc etc etc). And when told not to do this he does it again, and again, over and over, but doesn't look at us and thinks if he can't see us, we can't see him.

With Ben it is the screaching - he cannot talk so his way of whinging if he wants something or isn't getting his own way is to scream

With Charlotte in the past week it has been the fact she keeps calling me "muuuuuuuuuuum" I don't know why but it irritates the hell out of me and I am now refusing to even respond to her unless she calls me a nice "Mummy" - why does it bother me? I don't know?

I'd have to say the 'why' ting too. Which started the day he turned 3. It's so bad now that even if we say 'oliver...' he says 'why?'

And the 10 call backs to the bedroom every night when he is put to bed

Also at the moment is if one of us upsets him, Adam says " you not my mummy/daddy/brother/friend" which is a bit worrying when we are out like last week when he said it to me in a shop I mean if someone took it the wrong way I could be in trouble

NOT BLOODY LISTENING!!!

Okay so actually the not listening is in part due to her glue ear muffling everything so when she's tired she just tunes out and it is worse when she's tired...

But I have really enjoyed watching her imaginative play come on in leaps and bounds the last few days... Wonder if the lack of TV has had something to do with it
We've been cracking down on TV because if we put it on in the morning for a bit she has a tantrum when we turn it off - so better not to turn it on at all!
Since Wednesday last week she gets charlie&lola and bedtime story at the end of the day but that's it I think... Seems to have made a massive difference

Acting deaf, general defiance with a little smirk on his cute little face and being too rough! But he is very affectionate and happy usually...I often have to remind myself of that on 'challenging' days.
