Phlegm Sick & Poo (Update page 2)

Stan always sounds like he has constant phlegm in his throat, I've said this before. When he's sick it's nearly always phlegmy. Today his poos have been all stringy & phlegmy too. Is this common? Do you think it's just working it's way out now?

Austin has been like that sometimes but not constantly, if it's excessive why don't you take him to see the doctor, just to be on the safe side

It is normal that it comes out in the poo but I wouldn't say it's normal to happen all the time

Grace is like this occasionally but not that often...

He doesn't poo it out usually. He just did that today & sounded a lot less phlegmy today. I did speak to HV about & she was quite dismissive.

Kacie definitely sounds like this too, quite a lot and I have noticed her poo looking a bit like that too on a couple of occasions.

Why are HV so dismisive?

My friends lo was always like that, always kind of bunged up, nasally/snotty and he had to have his adenoids out in the end. Some babies are more mucusy than others though and milk/dairy can cause this as well, take him to your doc just for a second opinion just to out your mind at rest. x

I have done from time to time - mostly it's with Isabelle though but I guess being that she was prem she is more prone to stuff and it often goes to her chest...
What with jabs and my smear, reflux med repeat prescs, eczema appts, asthma appts, ENT appts etc yes some days I do and then I go a whole month without having to go in...
