We've got alot of the books already mentioned and I also buy shortened versions of fairy tales and children's classics for a few pence from charity shops. Last night Connor chose Goldilocks and the three bears as his story, and he also likes The Jungle Book and Pooh Bear (along with various Thomas books which I'm very bored with!). Finn's current favourite is Peppa Pig goes Swimming which we borrowed from a friend, mostly because he likes to shout 'pig' at any opportunity. And the Thomas thing is popular with him too, you can get shorter versions of Thomas stories as board books which he enjoys too.
