I agree with Steph that baby nurofen is much more effective than calpol and it lasts longer overnight. It comes with its own little syringe too!

The dosage on my nurofen bottle says 3-6months 2.5ml maximum 3doses in 24hrs and 6-12months 2.5ml maximum of 3-4 times in 24hrs... Every 6-8hrs... I find that nurofen (ibuprofen) does last 6hrs and you can give it while they have calpol in their systems too - it's a good idea to 'layer' it if they're really distressed to get the maximum pain relief (also good to do if they have a very high temperature)

ok so last night we had some success.....I gave her 2 bottles of 4oz of formula as usual 4 hrs apart and by 6pm she was starting to get tired so I gave her 1ml of Medised and VOILA....she slept thru til 2.30am!!!! so much better :wine:
