Anything to worry about?

Grace bashed her mouth yesterday on one of her climbing expeditions as she slipped and she was very upset and her mouth did bleed a little where she'd banged it (I think she bit the inside of her cheek!)... She only has her bottom two teeth currently...

The thing is her gum on her right front where her second lot of teeth I expect to come looks bruised - kinda bluey whereas her left side looks normal and reddish...

I know if she'd bashed her teeth I'd probably be off to a dentist but not sure if you need to bother pre teeth?
She's still quite sore there and winges unless she's got her dummy in all the time really *sigh* though otherwise she's just normal (aside from being full of cold)...

She's eating a little too (normal for her) so it can't be TOO bad...

Awww poor Grace, she's a proper little adventurer isn't she. :D

I doubt there is much the dentist would say. When Zach bashed his teeth/gums the dentist just told us not to be suprised if he has marks on his adult teeth when they do come through as gum damage can damage the teeth underneath :-? . Those little white marks are what he told us we may see. Theres nothing they can do to check now.

Hope the bruising goes down soon.

Ooooo poor Grace :( I'd just keep an eye on it I think and if it seems to swell more, get bluer or cause her more discomfort, get it checked out then.
I'm sure she'll be back to normal in a day or two though  They sure love to adventure these little ones :babyroll:

Aww poor wee lamb, you have all my symptathy as she sounds so like our Grace who is a walking nightmare, after yesterday head dive into the radiator tonight she fell backward off our bed

I wouldn't worry too much sounds like it is just bruised but ouch it must be sore, do you have arnica tablets? They are teeny tiny little things and you just pop a couple in her mouth and let her chew them or just let them dissolve (no chance of chocking as they really are teeny), I give them to Gracie xx

 sounds like even a visit to the dentist wouldn't actually do anything

I know when I packed Ben off 2 weeks after an accident to the dentist there was nothing they could do and he just had to ride out the pain for another 3 weeks and wait to see what happened to the teeth.
