Acidophilus works!

Postby Velvetsteph » Sat Feb 16, 2008 7:42 pm

Well thankyou so much to Shadow (ladybird) for recommending Solgar's ABCdophilus powder - Isabelle's on day two of taking it while still on the antibiotics and we've had some nasty nappies so far... But this evening we had NORMAL poo!! (TMI sorry!!)

Thankyou so much! So easy to give her too - she has a beaker of moo juice with her morning snack or breakfast and I just mixed it into that, I tasted it to check and you can't taste that it's in there - just gave the cup a good shake and it mixed in nicely...

ETA: And the website she recommended were really good too - very quick delivery...

Sounds good, must have missed the first thread. i take it, it's to stop runny poo from anti-b's?

Yep Hannah - and I have to say I'm impressed...
Normally when she's on antibs her nappies are just awful - and her skin suffers as aresult too... But we're ok this time!

Excellent tip then! Must remember when Erin has anti b's. Not that I'm in a hurry for that... she's had a couple of doses in her entire life over 1 day and her eczema went bonkers so I threw it away!

Well I think it helps with that too when they're on antibs Hannah - fingers crossed she doesnt' need any for a long time yet but you might find it helps keep her system more in balance if she does...
