Postby fleur08 » Tue May 25, 2010 12:31 pm

hi all, im looking for a shampoo shield for emmy, ive seen one somewhere & it looks like a plastic visor that covers the whole face, like a firemans visor thingy does, if you get what i mean?
ive tried one thats like a halo and goes over the head but herself wont keep it on.
does anyone know the sort i mean & where i could get one?

looks interesting, but the one i saw ,i think had arms, like glasses & a plastic thing that came down in front of the face so that no water,at all, gets on it.
not that easy to describe & i probably sound like a loon! :giggle:

We have one of these http://www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk/detailfa ... 80CAT00278 but Dawn won't tip her head back so it doesn't work for us  No doubt when she starts co-operating it'll be brilliant though :giggle:

:giggle: I can imagine what you mean but have never seen one. What about some where like Betterware or Lakeland?

We always just lay Gracie down flat in the bath when she was really little (she always just lay flat anyways), then when she was bigger we just topped water over her as she loves it, now she tips her head back and I use one of the big scoops you get in washing powder to pour the water on x

thanks, just looked on betterwear & lakeland & no luck.
problem is, she positivly hates having a bath & the last time i washed her hair it took 2 of us, 1 to hold her n 1 to wash it.
she has also got one hell of a deafening scream on her :crossbaby:
my quest continues.................................

nah, any water is evil stuff according to her, gets terrified at the mere mention of bath time, hoping she will grow out of it, but its getting worse with age :(

I have no idea with the visor thing - sorry, but have you tried bathing her in the sink? that might he less scarey for her?

Although thinkig about it, you've probably tried everything!
