Use your excersise ball to calm baby!

Postby Avas Mamma » Wed Jun 16, 2010 9:11 pm

Ive found that if i gently bounce or rock with my LO on my excersise ball it calms her right down and helps her to sleep. It is much easier than pacing the floor or rocking her back and forward like we used to and when your knackered in the middle of the night it is a godsend. Hubby uses it too! Also i suck my stomach in and straighten my back while doing it and im sure that my stomach has gotten tighter and a little closer to flatish. Hope this helps some other mums out there

Mmmm yes we discovered this with Elsie- who was up about 22 out of 24 hrs!! It's wonderful & she still likes to be cuddled & bounced when uncomfortable (use the ball as my computer chair)....

:wine: for exercise balls!!

We did this with Isabelle for a year plus when she had dreadful reflux...

Just be careful not to bounce too hard - not good for baby ;)
