bronchiolitis

Poor William has it Hes too little it have such a nasty cough and I hate that theres nothing to give him. Phebie had it when she was 15wks she had it much worse though we ended up at the childrens hospital.

Has anyone elses LO's had it? Do you have any good home remedies for it?

Isabelle had this at 5wks and got given alupent syrup to help her breathe...

Other than inhalers or a syrup to help dilate the airways there's not an awful lot can be done...
Some sort of menthol thing like olbas oil in the room helps and steam is said to be fantastic so take him with you when you shower, boil a kettle a few time in a room with the door shut and you both in there and keep him on a slightly raised mattress...

Hope he gets better soon it is horrible

(((Beck and William))) push for an inhaler if you can. Jack had bronchiolitis a few times when he was a small baby it isn't nice seeing your baby struggling to breathe. Hope the vapouriser works.
