Treasure Baskets!

After seeing an early topic thought would make one where we can all add our ideas of what we have put in our treasure baskets for out little ones

im ummmmm still to buy a basket let alone fill it!

I made one for my cousin's dd last Christmas, no pics I'm afraid though. I used a lidded box made from thick card, filled it with coloured tissue paper and put in

a couple of coloured cotton reels
some lengths of ribbon tied together at one end - they were all different colours and textures
a pine cone
a smallish ball
a set of measuring spoons

am sure there were a couple of other things but I can't remember.

umm basically some sort of basket that you will with random things from around the home, and then let you LO's explore,

You know the old cliche of your LO playing with the paper more than the present, or his favourite 'toy' being a sieve or set of measuring spoons from your kitchen, well you fill a little basket or box with things from around the house and let your baby play
