Spam me with teething help!

Postby ktinkley » Fri Sep 10, 2010 3:15 pm

We're nearly there - she's only got 1 set of molars and eye teeth to go, but she's been lying on the floor screaming for most of the day because it's so bad this time - woke up four times last night :x

So - any ideas, anything - I've probably tried alot of it, but you never know! She's currently sitting here on her second ice lolly of the last hour - the happiest she's been all day, but that's probably not going to help much tonight!

What we've tried:
calpol
ibuprofen
ashton and parsons
tea
calgel
bongela
amber

can't think of anything else off the top of my head.....

Chamomilla?
Cranial Osteopathy?

We used Ashtons and Parsons and/or chamomilla, but we had to give them regularly for the full effect. Several times a day, every day and for a couple more days after we thought it was over.

My Great Aunt - she was a nurse - though don't know if there's any medical evidence - she swore by it apparently :giggle:

hadn't thought of cranial oesteopathy - that might be worth a try = why do these things always come up on a friday - we'll have a crap weekend - then by Monday when I can call for an appointment somewhere - she'll be over the worst!

Another vote for Cranial Osteopathy. Worked wonders on Moo's colic.

We use ashton and parsons, and like Shadow says, we use it regularly throughout the day.

She's got a stinking cold now too. :(

we used to use some homeopathetic thing from the health food shop. they're like little tabs that dissolve on the tongue instantly. they were very good

cranial osteopathy was a waste of a lot of money here, did bugger all for catelyn
