Success, my son is now in a proper bed

We are on the 2nd night of our son going into a proper bed. It's a junior bed. He's taken to it really well. Better than expected. But we think he was more than ready and slept well anyway. He even had a good afternoon nap in his bed today too. So we are happy it's gone well He's 2 years and 5 months.

we needed to do it soon as we need his old cot for our new arrival when he decides to be born

That's fab. Both my 2 boys settled really quickly into their proper beds too

Its good isn't it Max had been in with DH and I from just after Xmas up to a week ago when we decided that we wanted our bed back and it was time for him to be in his own. We took the sides off his cot and made it into a bed for him and put him in it just over a week ago. The first few nights were hell as he kept waking up 3-4 times but the last 3 nights he has slept right thru so FC he's settled there now

Thanks for your comments. It is great. We've had 3 nights now and all have been good. He is a good boy He has slept in the afternoons too. It was funny though when i went to get him yesterday, he had put every toy out of his room (although not that many at the moment) into his bed and he was playing with them on there!
