The magic of the hoover.

Postby twinny11 » Thu Jun 23, 2011 10:37 am

I'm sure there are many of you out there who have experienced 'the magic of the hoover' but it never ceases to amaze me! Every day now at 10am I pop little man in his rocker in the doorway of the shower room, bang on the hoover and it's like he's been taken over by a magical spell!

While I have my shower, dry my hair, style my hair, and now I even find myself having the time to sit here and right this!...(in fact I get everything done except the hoovering! :giggle: ) he sits there nice and peaceful in what looks like a deep state of sleep. But I know if I turn the hoover off he will be awake in minutes!

And so concludes 'the magic of the hoover' :wine:

:giggle: yay to the magic of the hoover, long may it continue! As a toddler he'll be obsessed when you attempt to hoover, as mine are but am sure when they are teenagers they'll be less obsessed

Bless him, it did make me giggle :D

:giggle: I relied on it for about 3 months, my neighbours must have thought I was obsessive :giggle:

Now I have a white noise app on my phone and it works like a charm :D

both mine have been able to sleep through the hoover as babies!
However DS when he started getting mobile - became totally freaked out my the hoover, so much that I couldn't hoover unless someone else was in the house and would hold him coz he was so scared of it
Finally got past that stage - and now he wants to help!
