We got our cot bed duvet and pillow from Ikea and got cover and pillow case too, think it only came to about £20 for the lot

We gave Rufus a duvet & pillow at 12 months as I found he was getting cross & uncomfortable in his Grobag, but although he loves his pillow, we went back to Grobags after 3 nights of broken sleep as he was cold & unable to pull the duvet back over himself. I got some 18-36 month Grobags from John Lewis that are lovely & long and don't trap his legs or stop him from standing up. I think we'll stick with those until either they are outgrown or the sides are off his cotbed.

12 months is the recommended age. We got one for DD then but she invariably kicks it off anyway, and if I put it back on her in the night she whines until I take it off again. She has woken cold a few times but I'm hoping this winter she will understand to pull the duvet over her if she's cold.
