Teeht question

Postby mamavan2 » Fri Dec 23, 2011 3:41 pm

Yesterday we've been to our dental check, every thing was oke with my dd teeht.
But this afternoon I noticed that one of her front teeht is a bit darker! They were alway's the same.
I rang our dentist but of course closed!
Any idea what this can be?
We brush here teeht twice a day and nothing strange has happend today.

How old is she?
Has she had a bump to the face/mouth?

A bad tooth can show up as being grey, but then if it had been knocked it could also change colour.
A tooth ready to fall out but taking a long time too can also go grey - that is why i asked how old she is.

She is 3 y 2m. The tooht is a bit yellow at the front and a bit grey at the back.

not today or yesterday. I can't remember when the last time was some where between 2 or 4 weeks ago.

She may had a bump without you knowing. Think that's the most common cause of discoloured tooth.

Thank's for the answers.
I know she will have a new tooth at some time, I'm just a bit sad that even with our regulary brushing she still has a coloured tooht .

To be fair most people probably won't notice. I have a boss once with a dead tooth and a birth mark on her face and I only found out after 3 years of working for her when we went away for business.

Meant to say, I noticed one of the Mouse's teeth going a little grey a few weeks ago, and it seems to have faded again, so it may not be a 'forever' thing...

That will be it then - you can always take her back the dentist if you're worried though.
