Making for the baby - crochet cardigan.

Grrrrr the pattern I used didnt' give any finished measurements (or gauge to be fair) so I have just winged it. After making the comment I made earlier about size I've just looked up and I think it is too small it is only about 13 inches around where I have just read NB size should be 14 inches body size plus an inch or so for ease. It does stretch a bit but not heaps. I need a NB to measure

Leon fit in a super teeny cardi 12 inches it was, from birth for about 3 weeks and he was 9 lb 4

You could add an extra few rows on the button band/trim to make it a little bigger around the chest.
