Christmas cookie gifts

After getting lots of inspiration for making things this Christmas, mainly from @Louise. I'm going to make some Christmas cookies for B to give to the family alongside some Candy Cane Soup. However, I'm looking to wrap the cookies in some cellophane gift bags, but as I've never done anything like this before, I'm not sure what sort of size I should be looking at.

If anyone has any other ideas of how I could package these gifts then I'm open to other suggestions too.

I'm just hoping I don't run out of time!!! :loopy:

Thinking about time, how far in advance can I make the cookies?

I'm doing mine soon and freezing them. :D These are what I will be putting them in once they are defrosted and ready to go.

I made fudge as gifts last year and wrapped in cellophane. Bought a huge roll of it to wrap wedding favours in, and had plenty left! Very economic but pretty too.

Thanks Ladies. I've just ordered some clear cellophane gift bags from eBay that should do the job nicely and thanks to @Louise as I used your ones as a size guide.

Freezing them is an excellent idea. Do you freeze them once they have already been cooked? I want to ice some, would you defrost and then decorate? Sorry, I'm just so clueless!

Yes I would ice and decorate after defrosting.
