If you slice it now, it will dry out the cake. Why might is not be OK?

I'm a non-feeder too. I made mine a couple of weeks ago and will just leave it until Xmas.

What recipe did you use and did you actually follow it ? :lol: I'm sure it will be fine. It's only a cake.

I use Delia's recipe, but didn't have black syrup so used molasses. And didn't have the right tin so used a bigger one, so its thin... could be as dry as bat poop

Oh and I didn't have the right spices either so made up some random combination, and I didn't have the right dried fruit, so made up that too!

:giggle: Maybe if you are that worried then cut a bit and freeze it then it won't go dry? Or just start eating this one and do another one ready for Christmas day :twisted:
