The snowman and tree were made by wrapping yarn around a cone/balloons and painting with liquid starch (or a mix of cornflour and water boiled until thickened then left to cool). Or you can use a mix of PVA glue and water.

Fabulous! I'll have to have a look at the snowflake links. I want to do a 'curtain' of flakes on our huge front double double French doors (ie 4 doors!) I thought that would look pretty cool!
