Who does the DIY in your house?

Most everything DH will do, things like painting we will do together but for things like the hall and stairs we will get some one in, I would have a carpet fitter in to do a carpet as we don't have the tools and that is something that needs to be done right so it looks good and doesn't move when furniture is moved

My dh hates DIY, even basic stuff like painting. He moans like a teenager about getting a spot of paint on his hand. So I do it.

Odd jobs he is pretty lacking in common sense, so I tend to do them.

Anything electrical or plumbing we get somebody in. Carpets and flooring, I'd get somebody in.

Building furniture I do.

Tbh I'd like him to do more, or try it with good grace, but he works very hard, is an awesome dad, pulls his weight domestically, and has made an effort to learn to cook over the years. So paying somebody to do what we/he have no time or inclination for is fine.
