Chalk paint

Sorry this isn't really the right place for this post. Wasn't too sure where it fitted in.
I like the idea of painting one of the walks in the lounge in chalk paint for dd.
Has anyone got chalk paint in there house? What do you find it? Am I right In thinking you can get some chalk paint that is magnetic as well? Or am I getting confused?

We have two areas of magnetic paint and found it pretty useless, even with 3 coats, rather than the recommended 2.
Not tried blackboard paint though, my lot would just make a huge mess with the chalk

We got some blue blackboard paint from B&Q for Sasha and Keane's rooms. I found it pretty good actually. I did need a couple of quite thick coats, but the pots went a long way (still have some left in each).

We got some blackboard paint for the surface of Rhys' little play table. I'd love to do a wall, but we rent, so not really practical.
Magnetic paint sounds fab, if it worked anyway
