Wonderoos and bum cream?

Could I use a paper liner in my sons wonderoos when hes got a sore bum and needs cream on? I mainly use sudoceme or boots own brand stuff, and at the moment hes in disposables as I believe that the cream would clog up the fleece on the wonderoos. So if i used a liner would be ok, or would it soak through that and get onto the fleece anyway?
Not sure what to do and really want to get my little man back into cloth!!!

I would have thought that the cream won't soak through the liner. But I use metanium (the stickiest nappy cream ever) without liners on Wonderoos and it washes off at 60 degrees.

yes the paper liner would help.

Yes you could use paper liners, but I find that as long as you rub sudocrem in really well then it doesn't affect my pockets
