Gracie has a very sore bottom just now, she is actually flinching in pain, it isn't a rash as such more of looking scorched/acid burn?
I did change our washing powder when the bold formula got changed as thought that might be the cause, switched to Ariel (will try fairy next). Could it be bananas, she has 1 or 2 a day? Am going to stop giving her them for a couple of day and only offering water to drink - she gets fresh apple diluted down or very dilute juice. x

Does sound like she could be reacting to the detergent, but there shouldn't be any left after the rinses in the wash, anyway... :-?
Hope you manage to suss it out... I guess she can have lots of nappy free time?

Did you read the thing about fleece causing a rash that looks like sunburn as it can hold onto wash chemicals?

aahhh thanks Steph could well be that as we are using fleece liners a lot more now. Might invest in some minkee or silk ones then. Need them quick though

Thanks Jonny.

TBH  the fleece liners are pretty manky, clean but just manky, I am wondering that using cream on them has cause them to get bunged up. x

ouch hope you can sort it - try boots liners in the meantime as you can wash them over and over, but also throw them.

Is it sad that I noticed that you had changed washing powders when I open the parcel you sent me this week? :giggle:

Lily sometimes does rancid acid poos that burn her bum within seconds/minutes and leave her with open blisters on her bum. Not sure what causes it - possibly teething. Have no advice but lots of sympathy for Gracie. I often put her in a bath when she has done one of those nappies, just to make sure there is no leftover acid after wiping, and to cool down her poor little red bottom. :crossbaby:
